POOL RULES 2026

POOL RULES 2026

Scheduled Opening Saturday, May 23, 2026

Scheduled Closing Sunday, September 7, 2026

These rules and regulations are intended to ensure the safety and protection of each resident of Sunrise Bay.  The goal is to maximize your enjoyment and relaxation while using the pool and facilities.

Homeowners/Residents are responsible to ensure that they accompany their guests and that everyone knows and obeys the rules.

To help control costs and save the community money, lifeguards will be on duty on weekends only through Friday, June 26. Beginning Saturday, June 27, a lifeguard will be on duty daily through the close of the pool season on Labor Day, September 7.

Please note the following rules regarding children at the pool:

  • Children are permitted at the pool only when a lifeguard is on duty.
  • Weekend and Holiday Hours: Children are permitted from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Monday through Friday (beginning June 27): Children are permitted from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • When no lifeguard is on duty, children are not permitted in the pool area.
  • No children are permitted in the pool after 5:00 p.m.

As many of you know, Sunrise Bay is a 55+ community. While some residents have expressed concerns about allowing children at the pool, many homeowners enjoy having their grandchildren visit and share time with them. The Board believes the current policy provides a reasonable balance while maintaining safety through lifeguard supervision.

A reminder that the Buddy System remains in effect:
